CROCHET PATTERN: This santa hat pattern features a close weave stitch for extra warmth and textured 3d earflaps.

SIZES:  Adult  sizes S-XL
SMALL: 18.5" in circumference
MEDIUM: 20.9" in circumference
LARGE: 22.2" in circumference
X-LARGE: 23.4" in circumference
*For best fit, choose a hat size 2-3" smaller than head circumference.
 
HOOK: 4mm crochet hook (or hook size that achieves correct gauge).
 
YARN: Approximately 350-430 yards of DK weight yarn or fingering held with kidsilk lace (the sample photos utilize fingering held with kidsilk lace).
 
GAUGE: 13 stitches & 16 rows = 4" in modified half double crochet.
