The knitting stitch increase & decrease calculator is an extremely valuable tool for calculating how to evenly increase or decrease stitches along a round or row of knitting.

Please note the following:

• Only single increases and decreases can be made

• OPTION 1: Is an M1 increase, but any increase that makes a new stitch in between stitches may be substituted

• OPTION 2: Is a KFB, which may be substituted with any increase that works 2 stitches into a single stitch.

• Decreases use K2tog, which may be substituted with with any decrease that works 2 stitches into 1 stitch.
