How to complete a modified single crochet 2 together: To decrease your stitch count with a modified single crochet, the technique will be almost identical to a normal single crochet 2 together, with the exception of stitch placement.
Insert your hook into the first leg of the first stitch (rather than under the front & back loops), yarn over and pull through, insert your hook into the first leg of the second stitch, yarn over and pull through, yarn over and pull through all of the loops on your hook.
